Information we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. If you participate in our referral program, we also store a referral code associated with your email and a count of successful referrals. When you use our feature-request feature, we store the text you submit.

We automatically collect limited technical and usage information when you visit the Site, such as your approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you interact with the page. This is collected through the analytics tools described below.

How we use your information

We use your email address to notify you about dink's launch, send product updates, and administer the referral program. We use technical and usage information to understand how visitors use the Site, measure interest, fix problems, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics and third-party services

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and understand which pages visitors view. We use Microsoft Clarity to capture anonymized session replays and heatmaps that show how visitors navigate the Site. These services use cookies and similar technologies and may process data on our behalf. Their use of information is governed by Google's and Microsoft's own privacy policies. We configure these tools to avoid collecting information that directly identifies you wherever possible.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or until you ask us to remove it. Analytics data is retained according to our providers' default retention periods.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@letsdink.co, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to opt out of certain processing. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message we send.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including storing waitlist data with a reputable hosting provider over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as dink develops. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes may be communicated by email.
